THIS COUNTY WAS FIRST SETTLED AROUND 1730 AND FORMED IN 1812 WHEN NORTHAMPTON COUNTY WAS DIVIDED INTO TWO COUNTIES.
IT WAS NAMED AFTER THE LEHIGH RIVER.
ITS POPULATIONS IN 2016 WAS 363,147.
ITS AREA IS 348 SQUARE MILES.
LEHIGH UNIVERSITY IS HERE.
POINTS OF INTEREST: DORNEY PARK AND WILDWATER KINGDOM, AMERICA ON WHEELS, LIBERTY BELL MUSEUM, WEHR COVERED BRIDGE AND LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO.

3007 US counties to see on these computer chairs trip!
This trip is fun like Star Trek's "The Next Generation's" characters visits to their Holadeck . Like them we can stop when we want and go back to the places when we want. We can pick the postcards we want like they picked their characters, time and places. Originally I was going to do all the counties in one state and then move to another state. But that became boring. So that's what this update is all about. The Star Trek crew could go in and out and take breaks if they wanted. And that is what I have done also. Life has recently dealt me unexpected turns that have taken much of my time but now I am ready to travel again! So come along and join the fun
