This county's county seat is Robbinsville.

This county was founded in 1872.

It was named for William Alexander Graham who was a US Senator, NC governor, and US Secretary of Navy.

This county has 302 square miles.

It is the 3rd least populous county in NC.
This county is the only dry county in NC where alcohol sales are forbidden.

Points of interest: Nanatahala National Forest, Fontana Lake, Fontana Dam, Appalachian Trail and the Cheoah River.

3007 US counties to see on these computer chairs trip!
This trip is fun like Star Trek's "The Next Generation's" characters visits to their Holadeck . Like them we can stop when we want and go back to the places when we want. We can pick the postcards we want like they picked their characters, time and places. Originally I was going to do all the counties in one state and then move to another state. But that became boring. So that's what this update is all about. The Star Trek crew could go in and out and take breaks if they wanted. And that is what I have done also. Life has recently dealt me unexpected turns that have taken much of my time but now I am ready to travel again! So come along and join the fun
