Just Arrived in NY the Wonder City No place like it!

Ok Postcard Travelers buckle up in your Lazyboy and
put your coat on! We are heading north to New York
City the Wonder City.
This postcard is a photo postcard. I have been to New
York City twice. Everyone should go there. Once I went
in the 60s and all the women had Jackie Kennedy hairdos.
And looking down from the hotel there were people walking
all through the night! Not like Sun City Center in Florida!
The other time was to visit our daughter in Staten
Island. We were there and took the ferry over on New
Years Day and it was cold! But the perfect day to take
the bus tour around town. Loved it!The only thing I want
to go back to see are the Rockettes.

Anyway, this postcard is up for auction on Ebay and described
here:

Whew! 2500 Postcards Later!

Wow! As stated I have been downsizing my postcards fellow downsizers! Have sold 2500 in 25 lots of 100 in the past weeks to their next owners. Feels awful but good at the same time! Mostly my 3.5s X 5.5s.

Been here? I haven't.
Check out how it looks today:

I like the old one better. How about you?
Today everything bigger is better from boobs to vehicles. This downsizer likes less and smaller.
Now if I can just practice what I preach and downsize the pounds this month after
Thanksgiving!

Wild Bill and the Card Game Look So Real!

So many postcards and so little space to enjoy them!

Fellow Downsizers...Now here is the way to do it!
Buy my postcard notecards and send them on to a person to enjoy with you, instead of keeping them  cramped up in boxes til you conk out or forget where they are.

The white envelope is about 5 1/4 inches by about 7 1/4 inches. On the front of the note card is the permanently attached vintage postcard. The second pic gives you a closeup of the permanently attached postcard.

In this case on the back on an attached label is what was on the back of the postcard:

Wild Bill Hickok's last poker hand, which was played August 2, 1876 at Deadwood,Dakota Territory is portrayed with wax figures at Southwestern Historical Wax Museum, Grand Prairie, Texas.

Inside the note card, it is blank for you to add your very own message you want instead of the dorky ones people get paid to write for the card companies. Go creative and enjoy!

Up for sale on: http://www.etsy.com/listing/62146959/new-notecard-with-vintage-postcard-on

Zippo Use It to Start Something. Do you still have a Zippo?

Got me to thinking. After most of us downsizers stopped
smoking years ago lighters seemed to disappear.
Do you still have one? Then I got to thinking
wonder if they still make Zippos. Sure do.

And the Last But Not Least Part of the Downsizer Plan TIME

Contract your mind to have an end date to
have the downsized stuff out of your life
from the first day  you decide to give it up
and pass it on. Write it down and stick to
it. I have not been doing that and I started
wasting my life trying to sell these cards.
But I am back on track. I have a plan to list 10
100 postcard lots a day til they are all online.
If they do not sell by January 7th I will not
drop the price I will give them to a group
I already give things to. And this is the 10th
lot for today! Amen ! The plan takes the
stress out of your life and gives you the
ok to do what you hav e to do to get
them to their next happy owners!

Have Your $ Plan and Your Happiness Plan Before You Downsize

Ahhhh! Love those people in Tarpon Springs!
Good looking and healthy looking!
REAL downsizers go for the $ but won't
dump the happiness of the next owner aspect either.
Right now it is hard to get your ideal
$$$ so have a bottom amount you will accept
and if you can't get
that ...GIVE it away and make someone
happy who can't afford it rather than
give it to the person who just wants
it for its flipping value and tries to drive the
price down even lower.

Water Lily From Aunt Gert to Ethel Fort Wayne Indiana

Aunt Gert sent this postcard to Ethel in
Chicago on July 13, 1962 with a 3cent stamp.
It is a Water Lily Lakeside Park, Fort Wayne
Indiana. Dexter Press.
3.5 inches  by about 5.5 inches.
Used.  The usual "not new" condition exists
of  back of postcard with age discoloration
that goes with its age.
Great for post card collectors, card makers,
crafters and/or scrap bookers.

A Trip to the Cemetary Masaryk Memorial Mausoleum

Postcard:Masarx Memorial Mausoleum As it
says on  the back: "One  of Chicagoland's
most beautiful garden of memories, located
in the Bohemian National Cemetary, at Foster
Avenue and Pulaski Road Chicago, Illinois."
Curteichcolor.  Photography by Peter Pearson.
SIZE: about 3.5 inches  by about 5.5 inches.
USED? Not new and not used. The usual "not new"
condition exists of  back of postcard with age
discoloration that goes with its age. Edge and
corner wear.  This card has a crease and a
wrinkle in the sky above the building
(that doesn't show on the scan) on the left side
that would normally rule this card out for a
listing by me but the uniqueness of the subject
matter made me list it.   Great for post card
collectors, card makers, crafters
and/or scrap bookers.
I am downsizing thousands of my postcards
from my collection  during the coming months
and selling them individually or in lots online
until they are all gone.
